The police said the perpetrator had been identified. "It has been identified (the perpetrator)," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when confirmed, Tuesday, April 11. However, regarding the identity of the perpetrator and the actions taken, Trunoyudo was temporarily reluctant to explain. He said all matters regarding the handling of the case would be conveyed this afternoon. What is clear is that the case has begun to find a bright spot. "Djangani oleh Dit Reskrimsus, nanti siang disampaikan," kata Trunoyudo. Previously, the action of a man who pasted or replaced a fake QRIS in a charity box at a mosque went viral on social media. In the video uploaded by the @Jakartakota actor, it explains that this fake QRIS replacement took place at the Nurul Iman Mosque, Pancoran, South Jakarta. In the action, it appears that a man wearing a shirt and glasses approached the mosque's charity box.

Then, the man attached the QRIS sticker to the charity box. The action of the alleged perpetrator was caught on CCTV and the video was spread so that it went viral on social media. The QRIS that was replaced was said to be the male account code. Thus, all donations went into the man's pocket.
