When Taken Away, A Girl In Cilegon Was Taken With Drugs And Then Molested

CILEGON - A young man with the initials HT (29), a resident of Ranca Tales Village, Serang, was arrested by the Cilegon Police Satreskrim on suspicion of molesting a underage girl on Tuesday, April 4, at around 15.00 WIB in Pasauran Village, Cinangka District, Serang Regency, Banten.

Cilegon Police Chief AKBP Eko Tjahyo Untoro through the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilegon Police of the Banten Police AKP Mochmad Nandar confirmed the news. Nandar detailed that the Cilegon Police Satreskrim, the PPA unit, handled the case of a suspected criminal act of escaping an underage woman, not with the will of her parents or guardians and sexual intercourse and obscene acts against minors.

"The victim with the initials MT (16), which was allegedly carried out by the perpetrator HT, without permission from his parents, had taken the victim away from where the victim lived. The victim was picked up on the side of the highway by the perpetrator and then the victim was carried by the perpetrator using a motorbike and then invited to the perpetrator's residence in the Kampung Ranca Tales area, Serang City," said Nandar in a written statement, Monday, April 10.

Nandar explained that the victim was given some kind of medicine by the perpetrator which caused the victim to experience a impaired consciousness and the possibility of the victim being sexually assaulted and molested by the perpetrator.

"On Saturday (8 April) at around 18.30 p.m., the victim contacted witness Sister NA saying that the victim and the perpetrator HT and the perpetrator informed the reporter and witness Sister NA that the victim was riding an Angkot vehicle bound for Serang-Cilegon. Then the reporter and sister NA found the victim in a Serang - Cilegon angkot vehicle in a state of awareness of being disturbed. The victim was taken to the Cinangka Health Center for medical assistance. then the victim was taken to the Cilegon City Hospital Hospital for examination (Visum)," added Nandar.

For his actions, the perpetrator is subject to Article 332 of the Criminal Code or Article 81 or Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 TH 2016 concerning Child Protection with a maximum prison sentence of 7 years in prison.
