Secretary General Of Gerindra Says Prabowo Subianto Is The Leader Of The Middle Way

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani assessed that Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto is a middle ground figure who is able to lead the Indonesian nation in the future in the midst of the current world uncertainty situation.

This was conveyed by Muzani while attending a Ramadan gathering with the Central Executive of the Great Indonesia Muslim Movement (PP Gemira) in South Jakarta, Sunday.

"We need a middle ground. We need to have a leader who has finished with him, a leader who cares about sharing with his people, nation and country, a leader who is not busy thinking about his family and party, and a figure who is considered the most suitable for that is Prabowo Subianto," said Muzani in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta.

Muzani said that the figure of the middle road leader in question is a moderational door to unite various existing interests.

"That's why Pak Prabowo was visited by leaders of political parties and Pak Prabowo was prayed for to always be healthy and be able to lead Indonesia in 2024," he said.

Muzani said that Prabowo Subianto had received three leaders of political parties in this week, each chairman of Perindo, PBB, and PAN.

He considered the visit of the leadership of political parties to stay in touch with Prabowo Subianto as a sign of confidence in leading a large coalition that received support from Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Prabowo Subianto, he said, was also considered qualified as a coalition magnet for other political parties who wanted to join the grand coalition.

"These visits are the hope of all political parties to make Pak Prabowo a coalition magnet in the 2024 election," he said.

He said leaders of political parties are expected to carry presidential candidates who can save Indonesia's future, including ensuring education and employment.

This is because the prolonged war between Ukraine and Russia has resulted in an increase in food prices that have an impact on all countries in the world.

"Such as rising fuel and food with wheat raw materials such as bread, noodles, and others. We also experience the threat of food shortages, energy, clean water, security, and the threat of war," he said.

On that occasion, Muzani also reminded the importance of the strategic role of Gerindra Party cadres to ease Prabowo Subiantomaju's struggle in the 2024 presidential election.

He asked all Gerindra Party cadres and PP Gemira to take an important role in contributing the best to Prabowo and Gerindra Party's victory in the 2024 election.

Also present at the event were PP Gemira Chairman Gus Irfan Yusuf Hasyim and PP Secretary General Gemira Sudarto, as well as member of Commission X DPR RI Himmatul Aliyah from the Gerindra faction.
