Unlike The 2019 Period, The Number Of TPS In Samarinda Is Now Up 9 Units

The number of polling stations (TPS) in the 2024 General Election in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, has increased to 2,564 units, or an increase of nine polling stations when compared to the 2019 General Election of 2,549 polling stations.

"A total of 2,564 polling stations came from 59 urban villages spread over 10 sub-districts in Samarinda," said Samarinda City General Elections Commission (KPU) Commissioner for Planning, Data and Information Division Dwi Haryono, quoting Antara, Sunday, April 9.

Details of that many polling stations are that in Palaran District there are 202 polling stations spread over five urban villages, in Samarinda Seberang District there are 205 polling stations spread over six urban villages.

Then in Samarinda Ulu District there are 412 polling stations spread over eight villages, Samarinda Ilir District 207 polling stations spread over five sub-districts.

North Samarinda District, there are 338 polling stations spread over eight villages, Sungai Kunjang District, there are 408 polling stations spread over seven villages.

Meanwhile, in Sambutan District, there are 187 polling stations spread across five urban villages, Sungai Pinang District there will be 314 polling stations spread over five urban villages, said Dwi.

Lalu di Kecamatan Samarinda Kota terdapat 103 TPS tersebar di lima kelurahan, dan di Kecamatan Loa Janan Ilir terdapat 188 TPS juga tersebar pada lima kelurahan.

For the temporary voter list (DPS), he continued, currently in Samarinda there are 608,902 people, consisting of male voters as many as 307,446 people and women as many as 301,456 people.

"The number of voters while the most are in Sungai Kunjang District is 96,979 people consisting of 48,804 men and 48,175 women. Meanwhile, the few temporary voters in Samarinda Kota District were recorded at 24,534 people consisting of 12,417 men and 12,117 women," said Dwi.
