Welcoming Travelers For Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri, Babel Prepares Health Command Posts

JAKARTA - The Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Health Office has prepared a number of health service posts for people who will go home for Lebaran 1444 Hijriah.

"This health post will be built in a number of main locations, such as terminals, ports and other vulnerable homecoming routes," said Head of Primary Health Services at the Babel Islands Provincial Health Office M. Zaenuri in Pangkalpinang, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, April 8.

He said the establishment of this health service post would be adjusted to the relevant agencies that handle homecoming, such as the police, the Transportation Service, ASDP, and others, so that this year's homecoming flow can run safely, smoothly and in an orderly manner.

In addition, the health posts established by the Babel Islands Health Office will also be coordinated with the Health Office in districts/cities, including for the Belitung and East Belitung regions.

"This health post service will focus on the many routes that travelers go through, including at ports, airports, and potential tourism places," he said.

According to him, this health service post only conducts general health checks, such as blood pressure checks, but if the general examination is known to require further treatment, it will be referred to the hospital.

"Usually health complaints at health service posts at Lebaran homecoming, namely fatigue due to long trips," he said.

He expects travelers to maintain their health condition to stay in prime condition during their homecoming trip.

"We hope that travelers will take care of their health and not bring too much luggage so they don't get too tired of traveling back and forth to their hometowns," he said.
