Failed To Overtake, A Rider In Bogor Killed Instantly Crushed By A Truck

BOGOR - A traffic accident between a mining truck and a motorcycle occurred in the Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, Wednesday 5 April. As a result, a rider died at the scene due to being crushed by the rear tire of a mining truck.

From the information collected, the traffic accident occurred precisely on Kampung Ciaul Street, Sukasari Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, between a mining truck B 9866 JYT and a motorbike owned by a resident, the Scoopy type with police number F 4358 FFE.

"Yes, it is true that there was an accident and the victim died at the site. The victim with the initials RM, aged around 30, was the motorcycle rider. Currently, he has been evacuated to the Bogor City Hospital," said Kompol Sumijo, Kapolsek Rumpin, in his statement.

The police chief explained, based on the results of the crime scene analysis and the statements of the witnesses, the chronology of this accident began when the victim's motorcycle was about to overtake a tronton mining truck from the left.

"The motorcycle mirror got caught in a part of the truck so that the victim and his motorcycle fell. The victim died due to serious head injuries. This case is being handled by the Pondok Udik Bogor Police Traffic Accident Sub Unit," he said

Sumijo added that from several statements from local residents, the victim was riding with his child during the incident. But the child survived the accident.
