Firmly, LaNyalla Reminds Not To Reduce Teacher's Aid Fund IDR 73 billion

JAKARTA - The Chairman of the DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, pays special attention to the assistance of madrasa teachers in the 3T (underdeveloped, foremost, and outermost) regions in Indonesia which will be given by the Ministry of Religion worth IDR 73 billion.

LaNyalla asked for the distribution to be carried out transparently and not even a penny of teachers' rights was cut. "I emphasize that there should be no reduction in assistance for teachers at all. Teachers really need this assistance to improve the quality of their teaching," said LaNyalla, Saturday, April 1.

According to LaNyalla, this assistance is a benchmark for how we value educators who are the spearheads for creating this nation's superior generation in the future.

"If we play with their rights, it means that we dare to play with the future of our own nation," remembers LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti.

The senator from East Java continued, the teacher's special assistance would greatly contribute to educating the nation's children.

It's just that, so far attention to them is still minimal, so the impact on the level of welfare cannot be fulfilled.

"I ask that there are no teachers who have the right to receive assistance and then don't receive it. It is also certain that the data must be accurate, there must be no data errors that are detrimental to these teachers," he said.

Previously, the Ministry of Religion would disburse funds to around 9,043 RA and madrasah teachers and education staff (GTK) with an amount of IDR 1,350,000 per month.

The funds are expected to be given permanently as long as they are still in service. Therefore, LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti stressed the importance that there should be no deductions, even obstacles to the distribution of their rights.
