JAKARTA - The LRT Phase 2a development plan for the East-West corridor with the Pulogadung-Kebayoran Lama route which is being carried out by the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency is threatened with being canceled.

In his presentation, Gilbert also said, if the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government did not coordinate with the central government from the start, it planned to build the Pulogadung-Kebayoran Lama LRT.

Gilbert said that the cancellation letter for the Pulogadung-Kalideres LRT must be obeyed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. This means that the development budget of Rp.154 billion cannot be used and becomes the remaining budget usage (silpa).

Therefore, Gilbert advised the DKI Provincial Government, especially the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency to review the LRT development plan which was previously planned to begin construction this year.

"We suggest that to be reviewed, the LRT development plan is made according to the nomenclature and RTRW, according to the direction from the center. Without it, it will still be rejected," Gilbert explained.

"Do you want to include the following budget in the revised APBD, or budget for next year to remain LRT," he added.

In fact, the Jakarta Phase II LRT construction is planned to connect the last Jakarta LRT station from Boulevard Utara, Kelapa Gading, to the direction of Priok to be precise to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
