JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated a number of items after ransacking the official residence of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo in Widya Chandra V. The items confiscated included eight bicycles allegedly linked to the export bribery case of lobster fries

"During the search, it was found and secured including a number of documents related to this case, electronic evidence and eight bicycles whose purchases were suspected to have come from receiving bribes," said Acting KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri to reporters in his written statement, Thursday, 3. December.

In addition, the KPK also found money in foreign currency and rupiah with a value of billions of rupiah.

"We also found a number of money in the form of rupiah and foreign currency totaling around Rp. 4 billion," he said.

Furthermore, the investigative team will analyze the evidence and money found in this search.

Previously reported, the KPK has conducted several searches to investigate this case.

Initially, the KPK investigating team conducted a search at the office of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP). As a result, the KPK at that time confiscated rupiah cash and foreign currency whose nominal values were not stated and a number of documents.

Subsequently, the search was carried out at the PT ACK office in West Jakarta on Monday, November 30.

After the search, a number of evidence related to the bribery case for the export of fries and lobster seeds was brought by KPK investigators. As for the evidence found in the form of documents and other electronic evidence, however, the KPK did not specify it.

This evidence will be investigated and analyzed by the anti-graft commission investigators and searches in other locations will still be carried out.

Then, on Monday, December 1, yesterday, KPK investigators carried out searches in three places in the Bekasi area, West Java.

The three locations ransacked were houses, offices and warehouses belonging to the suspect bribery Minister Edhy Prabowo, namely the Director of PT Duta Putra Perkasa, Suharjito (SJT).

From the results of a search that was carried out from 15.00 WIB to 00.00 WIB, the KPK found a number of evidence related to this case. Includes evidence of financial transactions related to bribes.

It is known that Edhy Prabowo was named a suspect in receiving bribes along with five other people, namely: Stafsus Minister of KKP Safri (SAF) and Andreau Pribadi Misanta (APM); Management of PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK) Siswadi (SWD); The staff of the wife of the Minister of KKP, Ainul Faqih, and Amiril Mukminin (AM).

Meanwhile, the giver of the bribe was the Director of PT Dua Putra Perkasa Pratama (PT DPPP) Suharjito (SJT).

Edhy Prabowo and a number of suspects were arrested by the KPK prosecution team at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Tangerang upon arrival from Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. Edhy and other suspects were immediately detained by the KPK.
