SIGI - Most people in Lembantongoa Village, Palolo Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, are still afraid of doing activities in the garden after the alleged MIT terrorist attack which killed four residents.

Huber said the bloody incident which was very shocking made transmigration residents and people in Lembantongoa Village choose to temporarily stay at home.

In fact, he said, so far, to meet their daily food needs from agriculture and plantations.

After the harvest, the money is used to buy various goods / materials for daily needs. "But what can we do, we better not go to the garden, than our lives are threatened from a terrorist attack," said Huber.

The same thing was also expressed by Jefri, a resident of Tokelemo Hamlet, Lembantongoa Village, Palolo District. He said that after the heinous murder allegedly carried out by the MIT Poso terrorist group, people currently only stay at home.

The community prefers not to do activities in the garden for a while, because they are still afraid for the safety of their souls.

Indeed, he said, many officers had come to Lembantongoa Village, but the general public was still severely traumatized by the terrible incident.

As previously reported, on Friday, November 27 at around 08.0 0WITA, a group of unidentified people (OTK) who were suspected of being members of MIT Poso carried out attacks on transmigration settlements in the area.

There were four transmigration residents who were killed and several houses burned to the ground.
