Staying At The Trump Hotel, The Prosecutor Goes To The US For A Nose Job And A Breast Check

JAKARTA - The younger brother of the prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari, Pungki Primarini, explained the purpose of his brother's departure to the United States. Pinangki was said to have gone to the US for a nose job because of his sinus and breast disease checks.

"As far as I know, at the time I went to the doctor for a nose job for the defendant's sinuses, then checked for breast control, maybe cancer," said Pungki during a trial at the Corruption Court, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 30.

Pungki admitted that he participated when Pinangki went to the US. As far as Pungki remembers, he has been sent to the US 3 times

"Yes (three times). Around 2018, 2019 and 2020," he said.

Pungki said two doctors were visited when they were in the US. In addition, while there they stayed at the Trump Tower.

When staying at the luxury hotel, all Pungki connection fees were paid by Pinangki. But Pungki is not sure how much it cost during the trip to the US.

"My brother paid," he said.

In this case, prosecutor Pinangki was charged with three counts, namely the first charge of receiving a bribe of US $ 500,000 (around Rp7.4 billion) from the convicted Bank Bali cessie case Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra.

Second, the money laundering charges originating from the receipt of bribes amounting to 444,900 dollars or around Rp6,219,380,900.00 as money given by Djoko Tjandra for the processing of a fatwa to the Supreme Court.

Third, Pinangki was charged with committing an evil conspiracy with Andi Irfan Jaya and Djoko Tjandra to bribe officials at the AGO and MA worth US $ 10 million.
