Wife Pays Rp. 100 Million To Sister To Kill Her Husband In Kramat Jati, But Failed

JAKARTA - A housewife in the Kramat Jati area, East Jakarta, with the initials DS, was arrested by the police on charges of plotting to kill her husband through a hired person.

"The suspect is upset because during the ten years he was married, he was often abused by the husband who was also a victim named Lucky Hutagaol," said East Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Arie Ardian at a press conference at the East Jakarta Police Headquarters, reported by Antara, Wednesday, November 25.

The victim was reportedly critical due to a sharp weapon wound allegedly carried out by the suspect's younger brother with the initials GG on Monday, November 23 in the morning at the suspect's residence in the Kramat Jati area.

Arie said that GG did not work alone, he was assisted by two colleagues with the initials RB and FR who were still minors.

"The suspect was promised Rp100 million if the murder plan went smoothly," said Arie.

Thanks to reports of the victim who is currently undergoing intensive care in the hospital, the police immediately made arrests of all parties involved.

"We have successfully arrested all the suspects in separate locations," he said.

All the suspects are currently in the East Jakarta Polrestro detention cell for questioning.

Arie said that the suspects were charged under Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning maltreatment which left other people seriously injured.

"The threat of imprisonment for seven years," he said.
