Since 2011, Coldplay Expresss Support For Palestine

Coldplay has long expressed its support for Palestine. At least, the band's first support was seen in 2011.

At that time, Coldplay's official Facebook account called on its followers to listen to a song called Freedom for Palestine, a song initiated by the One World movement.

Coldplay personnel are not involved in composing the song. However, uploads on their Facebook accounts had become the focus of the media in many countries, especially in Israel.

It didn't stop there, in 2017 Coldplay visited Palestine and collaborated with a local band called Le Trio Joubran.

Coldplay and Le Trio Joubran's collaboration produced a song called Arabesque.

Based on song credit information from Spotify, the song was written by Chris Martin, Drew Goddard, Femi Kuti, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Paul Van Haver and Will Champion.

Then, Coldplay again expressed its support for Palestine in 2019. The support was expressed during a concert in Amman, Jordan.

At that time, Chris Martin was asked by a fan to sing a song for the victims of the war in Gaza, Palestine. He was also asked to give a solidarity speech.

"I believe every human being has the right to life. I don't agree with any kind of oppression," Chris Martin said in his speech.
