JAKARTA - Coldplay has a big commitment to realizing environmentally friendly music concerts. His world tour this year, the Music of The Spheres World Tour is expected to reduce the carbon footprint by 50 percent from the previous tour.

Various efforts have been made to realize environmentally friendly concerts, including those which will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) on November 15.

In his appearance later, Coldplay will present batteries and a recycling stage.

At several concerts that Coldplay has held this year, it is known that Chris Martin cs uses a stage with a combination of light, low-carbon, and reusable materials such as bamboo and recycled steel.

After the world tour is complete, all materials used will be recycled and reused.

Then, the lighting system also uses low-energy equipment such as low-energy screens and low-energy LED lasers.

In addition, Coldplay has also teamed up with BMW to supply electric power during a show using batteries from the BMW i3 electric car.

The batteries used will provide the necessary low emissions to replace diesel and gasoline generators that produce higher emissions.

For information, SUGBK as the location of the concert has cleaned up to prepare for the Coldplay concert later. Around 70 thousand spectators are expected to fill the stadium.
