Aaron Carter's Family Sues Doctors And Pharmacies For The Death Of The Musician

JAKARTA - Aaron Carter's family will sue doctors and pharmacies for the musician's death.

The pop artist was found unconscious at his home invillage, California last November, and was later declared dead after paramedics arrived at the scene.

He is 34 years old and is the younger brother of Backstreet Boys boy group Nick Carter.

Now TMZ reports, a lawsuit filed on behalf of the Carter family that accuses doctors and pharmacists of being responsible for Carter's death.

In the lawsuit, it was stated that doctors and pharmacist Walgreens should not have prescribed an opioid to Carter given his medical history.

The report further states that an error in prescribing and issuing drugs affecting Carter's mental judgment and health contributed to her death, according to The Independent.

Doctors or Walgreens have yet to respond to the claims.

Meanwhile, in April, Carter's ex-fiance said the autopsy report on the singer's death was not satisfactory enough.

Documents shared by the Los Angeles District Medical Examination Department confirmed the main cause of Carter's death was drowning.

The causes of the registered secondary death are the effects of alprazolam, the generic form of Xanax, and inhaling diffluoroethane, also known as Huffing. Carter's way of dying was considered unintentional.

In a statement to TMZ (via Billboard) at the time, Carter's ex-fiancee, Melanie Martin, denied the findings of reports byte officers.

"The autopsy results are not yet a conclusion for me," he said. He claimed his death from drowning but also added [Carter] wearing t-shirts and necklaces in the bath bath that didn't make sense, why was he in the bathtub wearing clothes?

"I'm still in shock and still miss Aaron every day. I don't understand the series of events and this report just makes us ask more questions."
