Ivan Marijuman Encourages Andmesh Kamaleng To Be More Dare To Work

JAKARTA - Ivan Allahman, a traditional neo musician from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) expressed his admiration for singer Andmesh Kamaleng.

The existence of Andmesh Kamaleng in the national music industry with all the achievements he has achieved, is seen as representing a bright future for Eastern Indonesian music.

"Some time ago Andmesh had time to go home. He was a great singer and very competent. I'm sure he will become a great musician, it's Andmesh," said Ivan Allahman in Kemang, South Jakarta on Wednesday, October 11.

For Ivan airman, Andmesh's ability to create romantic pop songs is beyond doubt. However, Ivan hopes Andmesh can also compose songs in his own regional language.

"Only one suggestion for me, I said, 'Try to create regional language songs once in a while'," said Ivan airman.

"His song is famous for pop, and there is no need to doubt it. If he creates regional music, it could be bigger, the traffic is broad," he continued.

Ivan also encouraged his junior fellow NTT musicians to be bolder and more confident in making works in regional languages.

In addition, Ivan also highlighted the importance of labels that sometimes attract young musicians to be free to work, especially to introduce the musicians' culture through their songs.

"What is needed is only courage and confidence. Because there are marketing labels and others, sometimes we have to join the label's wishes. That's what makes it difficult," said Ivan Mariaman.
