Yovie Widianto Invites 5 Male Singers To Form A SEMVA Group

JAKARTA - Yovie Widianto is back to create a new music project. If previously rearranged the song "Salah" by cooperating with Lyodra, Ziva Magnolya and Tiara Andini, now Yovie has formed a group consisting of male soloists named SEMVA (read ALL).

This new group consists of Hedi Yunus, Marcell Siahaan, Rio Febrian, Java Jive and Dudy Oris Fatures. They have just released their first single entitled Pledge of My Love.

"Everything is my mainstay, when the authentic colors combined in the 'harm game' are very fun, thank you to all the cool musician friends," wrote Yovie Widianto when introducing SEMVA on his Instagram account, viewed Thursday, October 5.

Meanwhile, the name SEMVA was chosen for a fairly simple reason. The name comes from a statement that often appears, "Eh, all of them come, right?" when the six musicians gathered.

Yovie is also happy with the composition of this new group. The five singers who joined were said to have a unique character and became very interesting when combined.

The SEMVA said it really represents this group because everything is here. All the singers are cool, all the vocal characters are unique, all the styles are interesting. It's right if the name becomes SEMVA, that's complete," Yovie said in his statement.

Meanwhile, U's change to V indicates the number of romawis representing the five singers.

Before SEMVA was formed, the five singers also had their own stories with Yovie. They have worked together several times in the past.

In working on the Oath of My Love, Yovie was assisted by Adrian Kitut as a producer. The song was created to show the vocal quality of the singers.

Arsy Widianto also plays a lyricist, who tells a faithful promise to his partner. This story is felt to be relevant to the love story of many people.
