Nadin Amizah Asks For Discussions On Limitations Between Public Figures And Fans

Nadin Amizah responded to the opinion of netizens who said that what happened during the concert in Bandung was a risk from a public figure.

A netizen believes that Nadin Amizah should receive consequences when many fans want to touch his body.

"That's part of Nadin's public figure consequences. And you have to accept that," read a netizen's statement shown by Nadin Amizah on her Instagram Story, Tuesday, September 26.

Nadin looks very disagreed with the opinion. He felt there should be further discussions about the boundaries between a public figure and his fans.

"Even though I said that I was not a victim of sexual violence, I still felt that we still needed a lot of discussion between us about the boundaries that should have occurred between public figures and their fans," said Nadin Amizah.

"I really want that to happen. I really want to have a discussion about it," he continued.

According to Nadin, there is no reason to justify a person touching another person's body without prior consent.

"Because I feel a lot of people like the ones below (citizens), feel that part of my body is to be touched, and I have to think that's normal," said Nadin Amizah.

"I don't agree. No one in the world deserves to be touched without permission from themselves, sexual or not," he added.

Once again, Nadin Amizah asked fans to discuss the treatment of their idol.

"So, I beg you to let us discuss it in a healthy manner and we open our eyes together. Because nothing deserves to be digitized. It seems that this has not been commonly discussed in Indonesia, but it is commonplace," he concluded.
