Revealed! Corey Taylor Doesn't Have The Guts To Cover This One Beatles Song

JAKARTA - Corey Taylor has again criticized the song The Beatles, All You Need Is Love, calling it "garbage" and "very sakarin".

In an interview with "Zach Sang Show" last month, the Slipknot vocalist described the song as "garbage" and "one of the biggest nonsense I've ever heard in my life. And every time I hear it, I feel like I'm being shot. In other words, it's really bad."

He then doubled his opinion in a video he posted to his YouTube channel, in which he responded to the "difficult talk" sent to him by his fans.

One fan disagreed with Corey's comments on The Beatles, arguing that All You Need Is Love was The Fab Four's best song. "No, that's not it," Taylor replied. "That's nonsense."

Now, during his new appearance on the podcast "Barstool Backstage", Corey explained his position in the song All You Need Is Love, but started with saying he was a big fan of The Beatles.

"Sometimes I study The Beatles like the Zapruder film, my friend, because I feel they are really the ancestors of so many different vibrations," said Corey.

"In the 60s, you have very specific bands that do very specific things of course The Who, The Kinks, all of them lead to different musical paths," he continued.

"But The Beatles, my friend, play a very important role in instilling seeds for so many different genres. The fact that they are now vilified makes me angry, and I encourage those people when they talk this nonsense."

Taylor went on to say that the Beatles' music catalog was "unmatched. Even bands like Led Zeppelin are very influential at not believing in what The Beatles are capable of."

Back to All You Need Is Love, Corey said: "(The song) is really sakarin. Every time I hear it, I feel like I have a hole. I feel like I said, 'What kind of trash is this?'"

When asked if he had his favorite album The Beatles, Taylor said: "Obviously, man. I mean, Revolver is really good. That one. But there's one thing, friends a lot of their good songs are not even on the album; they're singles, guys. So, I think a song like Strawberry Fields Forever is one of the darkest songs. And I never had the guts to cover it. Just think so. I always want it, because this song has the potential to eliminate this uncertain atmosphere."
