Alya Zurayya's Hopes And Prayers Through Single 'May Your Day Be Good'

JAKARTA - Singer Alya Zurayya brings hope and prayers to listeners through a new single entitled "May your Day be Good" which was released today, Friday, June 30.

"'Hope your Day Good' for me not just an ordinary song. The title of this song feels like a spell for me to start the day. A kind of sentence that I always repeat continuously to always believe there are many good things every day," said Alya in a written statement.

The title of the song stems from the greeting that Alya has always uploaded on her Instagram Story since 2017. The positive affirmation that is usually addressed to herself, said Alya, seems to be also a good hope and prayer for her family, friends, and social media friends.

The song "May Your Day Be Good" was created by Alya as a picture of hope and a new beginning. He believes that the steps taken every day will bring him more mature by interpreting the things that happen and being grateful for what he has.

"Because we never know which good steps will lead us to other good things, so I hope this song can be a reminder that every day there will always be new hope and good steps to wait," he said, as quoted by Antara, Friday, June 30.

In the process of making songs and lyrics "May Your Day Be Good", Alya was also assisted by Yaqi. He produced himself together with Khalishah Isyana.

Alya also involved other closest people such as Immanuel Novedo for the guitar position, Cahyadi for drums, Nenny Nurcahya Mulia for flutes, Cesyl Secioria for vocal arrangements, and Fachry Nugroho for mixing and mastering.

According to Alya, the song was created when she was in the "phase of being formed". In this phase, she goes through many maturing processes which make her always try to interpret everything that happens.

Previously, he had also released the single "Have You Ever Been Like me?" as an illustration of himself in the "phase of impact". Both phases, "phases of impact" and "phases of formation", will be summarized by Alya in its first full album which will be released soon. The "Hopefully Harimu Baik" is said to be the closing song for the album.
