Love In Colors, Angle Of View For Derai Regarding The Submission Of Love Language

Derai, an alternative pop duo from Sukabumi, issued his first EP (mini album) entitled Love in Colors, containing five songs that took inspiration from love language.

The series, which is manned by Ica Deriza (Ica) and Ramli Nurhappi (Rai) explains the meaning of the songs on this album that represent love language aspects, namely act of service, receiving gifts, physical touch, words of aspiration, and quality time.

"Love in colors is Derai's story and point of view about the delivery of the language of love which is represented through songs and colors. We want to convey that apart from happiness there is also sadness which is part of love too," said Ica in an official statement.

Love in Colors contains four previously released songs and there is one new song entitled Minor. The previous four songs of Derai were In My Blood, Relate To You, On My Way, and Love Tale.

Physical touch aspects are represented in the song In My Blood, then word of affirmation for Relation To You, then On My Way representing the act of service elements, and Love Tale which is a representation of recovering gifts.

The Minor, 03:19 minutes long, has a pop genre with an electro feel of combining the vocals of the two personnel in the song with romantic English lyrics. This song was composed by both of them and produced by Ankadiov.

"In this song, we use the lyrics to want to reveal that there are other forms that can be interpreted as love as sad, worried, afraid, disappointed and angry are also love languages," said Rai.

Minor and all four songs in the EP Love in Colors can be enjoyed on all digital streaming platforms in Indonesia.
