JAKARTA - The Java Pop Festival 2013 pop genre music festival will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Intermediate Stadium on July 8 - 9, 2023, presenting a series of singers such as Dara Ayu, Evan Loss, Guyon Waton, Happy Asmara, Nabila Maharani, Ndarboy Genk, NDX AKA, Pulung Agustanto, Woro Widowa and Jogja Hip Hop Foundation.

The Java Pop Festival ticket, which is sold from mid-June, is priced at IDR 275 thousand for one day and IDR 450 thousand for two days. This price is different from the presale ticket which is sold for IDR 150 thousand for one day and IDR 250 thousand for 2-Day Pass.

The producer of the Rivo Pamudji program said that considering today's young people who are happy with good visuals, he and his team will present the current music experience with exciting games during the festival.

Meanwhile, through the same written statement, the initiator of the Java Pop Festival Pulung Agustanto said this event was held to welcome the public's enthusiasm for Javanese pop music, as evidenced by many young people creating ambyar content using Javanese music.

"So without realizing it, it also helps the Javanese Pop music genre to grow and be known. One of them is indeed thanks to the late Didi Kempot or what is commonly referred to as The Good of Broken Heart," he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday.

Pulung then said that the Java Pop Festival could be a music festival that appreciates Javanese artists and culture as a whole, as well as bringing together people from all over Indonesia and beyond.

"Java Pop Festival is expected to have a positive impact on promoting Javanese Pop music and creating new opportunities for tourism and regional economic growth," said Pulung.

He believes that Javanese Pop music has the potential to become a unique representation of Indonesia's rich cultural diversity, so it is important to show the beauty of this music to the world through this festival.
