Mudvayne Working On First New Music In 14 Years

JAKARTA - Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray revealed he recently spent time in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas recording a demo for the band's next studio release.

"This will be the first music we've released in 14 years! Still not sure when it will be released but yes... it's coming!" he wrote on his Instagram.

Meanwhile, last month, Mudvayne announced the tour of The Psychotherapy Sessions. Produced by Live Nation, the 26-city journey begins on July 20 at West Palm Beach at iTHINK Financial Amphitheater, stops in the US in feasibility, feasibility, Phoenix, and others before ending in Englewood, Colorado at Fiddler's Green Amphitheater on August 26.

Mudvayne will join a number of supporting artists, including Coal Chamber, appearing for the first time in eight years, alongside GWAR, Nonpoint, and Butcher Babies.

Previously, Mudvayne made a breakthrough in 2022 when they started thetensive On Parade tour starring Rob Zombie. The 2023 tour, however, marks Mudvayne's first major effort since 2009.

Mudvayne was formed in 1996 and has sold more than six million records worldwide, earning gold certification for three albums (LD 50, The End Of All Things To Come, Lost And Found).

The band is known for its sonic experiments, innovative album art, facial and body paint, masks and costumes.

Mudvayne is fronted by Chad Gray (vocals), Greg Tribbett (guitar, vocals), Matthew McDonough (drums, synthesizer) and Ryan Martinie (bass).
