Queensryche Guitarist Michael Wilton Works As A Builder During The Beginning Of The Pandemic

JAKARTA - In an interview with Mike Hsu from radio station 100 FM The Pike recently, Queensryche guitarist Michael Wilton confirmed he was taking side jobs, building houses during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"A good friend of mine renovated his house and things like that. So he kept me busy for a few months," Michael said.

Asked if he was someone who was always useful around the house and had the talent to repair things and do construction, Wilton said.

"Yes. Many children in their teens learn various jobs, basic things. So it's a kind of learning in place, but it's all quite easy," he replied.

"(The pandemic) was a bad time for everyone, so we don't know what's going on. So I'm just doing this for a while. And I just want to get out of the house," he added.

Queensryche started their 2023 US tour on March 3 at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida. Support for this trip came from former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman and Trauma.
