Chester Bennington's Son Denies The Theory Of Conspiracy To His Father's Death

JAKARTA - Tyler Lee Bennington, Linkin Park's vocalist Chester Bennington, used TikTok to ward off conspiracy-theoretic rumors about his father's death.

Chester committed suicide in 2017 after battling depression. Now, his 17-year-old son is using his TikTok page to raise awareness about depression and advocate mental health.

Last month he said he would use the page more often and share awards with Chester on his 47th birthday.

The post said "mental health is just as important as anything else" in addition to the hashtag Daily depression, make Chester proud, and suicide prevention awareness

However, one person commented with the claim "Your father did not commit suicide" before adding "he is doing good in this world and they don't like it."

In response to a conspiracy theory surrounding Chester's death, Tyler said: "This is nonsense I won't discuss on my page. This guy I'm blocked. I'm still a kid, I'm not worthy of commenting on my posts or anyone's posts on this."

He went on to say that there is no evidence of these theories that have been created. This is all just a futile attempt to create a sensation and make what is truly a tragedy, a big story.

"Do something useful, man," added Tyler.

"I will not tolerate this kind of behavior about me, my family, or any fan on my page," he wrote in the video caption.

"It hurts me to know that there are still people in the world listening to slander who are seeking this attention. This is the only video I will post like this. For other comments like this, I have the right to mock and mock you back, before blocking you."
