When Toyota BZ4X Becomes A London Police Patrol Vehicle

JAKARTA - Currently, the development of electric vehicles is experiencing a major surge. Not only environmentally friendly, the various EV models that exist are also used for various needs, including playing a role as a choice of vehicles for government agencies including the police fleet. This is what the British police do.

In London, local police introduced Toyota bZ4X as the first electric patrol vehicle to be used at Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as well as events such as Carnival Notting Hill.

With this electric crossover, the police will conduct patrols in 28 regions, including parks, open spaces, and funerals. Toyota bZ4X's advantages in reliable all-wheel drive powertrain capabilities and compact sizes allow it to easily traverse various patrol routes.

"We believe that bZ4X will prove its value in the eyes of the regional park police as well as a future public service fleet," said Neil Broad, General Manager of Toyota One Fleet Services, quoted by Carscoops, Wednesday, November 8.

With a 71.4 kWh battery, the Toyota bZ4X electric car is capable of traveling up to 411 km in the WLTP cycle. The dual electric motor with a magnitude of 215 dk by driving all wheels (AWD) makes it an efficient and environmentally friendly choice for patrol needs.

In Indonesia, Toyota bZ4X is offered at a price of IDR 1.190 billion OTR Jakarta, with a minimum fine period of 3 months for interested consumers.
