When Delica D: 5 Turns Into A Car From The Future

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi is preparing to release the concept of an electric minivan that is rumored to be the next model of Delica D:5. But on the one hand, Delica D:5 itself is a popular model among the tuners, because it is interesting to modify.

This time, Vrarva, a sub-brand of Japan's leading tuner, presented the latest modifications to the Delica D:5 minivan, named Vrarva Ornus, or a new version of the adventurer minivan featuring advanced visual modifications inspired by military equipment.

This transformation includes 16 significant modifications, including major changes to the propagated cross section with a distinctive angle. This new design blends with the back, giving a strong and sporty impression that attracts attention.

Other changes include removing all Mitsubishi emblems from the exterior, as well asgrill updates and backdoors that now feature Vrarva branding. Velg is also upgraded to a 17-inch size, with Dunlop Grand Trek AT5 tires designed to deal with all terrain, providing better traction on rough surfaces.

Overall, its modification style was inspired by the Toyota RAV4-based Mars Vrarvas and was introduced in early 2023.

Vrarva Orca uses a Mitsubishi Delica D:5 4WD base with a high-performance 2.3 liter diesel engine. Although there is no increase in power mentioned by the tuner, Kuhl offers 4-inch (102 mm) lifting suspension kit options for those who want to increase Delica D's off-road capability:5.

The process of modifying this car, reported by Carscoops, October 24, of course costs a lot of money, with a selling price of around 39,967 US dollars or about 600 million and a modification fee of 18,098 US dollars or approximately Rp. 287 million.
