Sokoindo Ensures That E1 Seres Are Affordable For The People Of East Java

PT Sokoindo Automobile introduced the latest electric vehicle, Seres E1 to the people of East Java through the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023 Surabaya exhibition.

"The participation of PT Sokoindo Automobile in GIIAS Surabaya 2023 is very important because East Java is one of the largest national automotive markets, and Seres E1 is ready to serve the mobility of people in East Java for a better and more enjoyable journey," said Achmad Rofiqi, Head of Marketing for PT Sokoindo Automobile, in an official statement received, Wednesday, September 20.

In this exhibition, Sokoindo also revealed the price offered at Seres E1 starting from Rp199 million OTR Surabaya.

When compared, this price is slightly more expensive than the price for the Jabodetabek area where type B is the initial variant priced at IDR 189 million, while type L has a price of IDR 219 million.

However, despite having affordable prices, Seres E1 promises a number of advanced features for travel convenience.

The microcarry has a compact design with dimensions of 3,030 mm (long), 1,495 mm (wide), 1,640 mm (high), and wheelbase 1,960 mm. This car also has a ground clearance of 135 mm.

Despite having a simple look, this competitor from Wuling Air ev has an LED DRL light that attracts attention at the front and back, as well as a trendy 13-inch alloy rim.

The cabin is designed with a minimalist concept, equipped with wood-senned instrument panels, 7-inch instrument clusters, and 8.8-inch unit heads.

State-of-the-art features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brave Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, parking cameras, cruise control, driving modes such as Eco and Sport, Seat Belt Reminder, Pedestrian Warning Sound, Isofix, Event Data Recording System, Charging Status Display, and various other interesting features.

Type L, which is the highest variant, offers Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, which assists users in the operation of this car.

This car is equipped with a IP67 certified battery, where the battery has the ability to be waterproof when passing through a puddle.

The initial variant of E1, Type B, is equipped with an iron lithium iron phosphate of 13.8 kWh which can cover a distance of up to 180 km and can be filled from 10 to 90 percent in 3.5 hours with an AC Type 2 buffer. This type has a driving force of 33 dk and a torque of 100 Nm.

The highest variant, Type L, is equipped with an iron phosphate lithium iron battery of 16.8 kWh which has a distance of up to 220 km. Charging from 10 to 90 percent with AC Type 2 takes 4 hours. This type has a 40 dk motor drive and a 100 Nm torque.
