Hyundai Capai Positive Global Sales Rate During August 2023

JAKARTA - A vehicle manufacturer from South Korea, Hyundai, has again announced positive results on its global sales during August 2023.

Hyundai Motor Company announced that it managed to reach sales figures of up to 347,377 units during the August 2023 period.

Of course, this figure rose 3.2 percent from last year in the same period.

Reporting on Hyundai's official website, Friday, September 1, Hyundai managed to maintain its sales momentum globally at a gradual recovery rate due to a shortage of global spare parts.

During August, sales outside South Korea increased 1.5 percent or to 291,822 from last year in the same period.

The gradual recovery of global parts shortages and production stabilization has helped the company secure solid performance in the markets of North America, Europe, and India.

Meanwhile, local sales have increased 12.9 percent from last August's sales or 55,555 units with several new models contributing to sales.

Some of these models include Grandeur which has sold 8,820 units and Hyundai SUV models sold to 18,260 units in South Korea.

Hyundai's luxury brand, Genesis, also played a role in donating sales figures to 9,180 units. This achievement does not include the achievements of manufacturers in selling = n Electric Vehicle (EV).

Hyundai Motor has sold more than 18,000 EV units in the August period. This also strengthens the company's commitment to being at the forefront of the EV segment in the global market.

EV models such as Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 also contributed to the sales figure of around 70 percent of the total sales of electric vehicles.

As of 2023, Hyundai has sold 2,765,554 units worldwide, an increase of 8.6 percent from the same period the previous year.

This result was achieved thanks to a strong demand for the Hyundai model.

In the future, Hyundai will strengthen its sales figures by presenting various new models to be marketed globally such as All-New Kona. Ioniq 5 N, and the latest Sante Fe.
