Hyundai Stargazer X Attracts Attention At GIIAS 2023 As New LSUV

JAKARTA - Hyundai Stargazer X made his debut at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) with a different appearance from the conventional Stargazer variant. This car is intended to represent Hyundai in the rising LSUV segment.

The presence of this car aims to answer the mobility needs of Indonesians who want vehicles to be able to perform in various conditions, including challenging terrain. Stargazer X comes with a different performance from his MPV brother.

A number of significant improvements, both in terms of exterior and performance, have been applied to Stargazer X, which received positive responses from various segments during the GIIAS 2023 exhibition.

Astrid Ariani Wijana, General Marketing Manager of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), stated that they are observing consumer responses to this SUV and appreciating the valuable input provided by consumers.

"The response to Stargazer X is very positive, and we continue to monitor consumers' views and appreciate the changes we have made to this car," Astrid said at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Tuesday, August 15.

As a competitor to Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Astrid said Stargazer X offers a sporty look without sacrificing driving comfort.

"Hyundai's goal is to work on two segments at once by meeting the needs of two different types of customers, namely driving comfort and a more sporting look," added Astrid.

Positive response to Stargazer X is also reflected in a significant number of orders. However, Hyundai is not yet willing to disclose the number of units that consumers have ordered.

"We will announce it further after GIIAS ends, because we still need to collect data from different dealers networks," Astrid explained.

With a focus on driving convenience, the Hyundai Stargazer X has an impressive dimension with a length of 4,495 mm, a width of 1,815 mm, a height of 1,710 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,780 mm.

Carrying a Smartstream G1.5 MPI engine with a capacity of 1,497 cc, four fresh cylinders, gasoline-fueled, Stargazer X produces 113 dk of power and 143 Nm of torque. This machine is combined with Variable Intelligent (IVT) transmission.

With the various features offered, Hyundai Stargazer X is priced starting from IDR 325.6 million for Style type, while the Prime type is priced at IDR 336.2 million, this price is On The Road in the DKI Jakarta area.
