Ralph Macchio And Jackie Chan Ready To Work On Karate Kid's New Film!

JAKARTA - Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan are back working together to work on the latest film Karate Kid. They even held auditions to find out who the next Karate Kid figure can be followed by anyone!

Macchio will return to play Daniel LaRusso from the Karate Kid trilogy which started in 1984. Jackie Chan also plays Mr. Han, the master of Kung fu who taught Dre Parker at his remake in 2010.

Hello everyone! We have big news. We will star in the latest film Karate Kid together," said Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio in the latest video.

"That's great news, but we have even greater news. We're looking for the next Karate Kid," he said.

This search was carried out globally and Macchio had quoted the iconic dialogue, 'Wax on, wax off,men!'

They explain that the Karate Kid can then be read through the listed site. They look for characters with specified conditions.

Launching the site, the child actor who joined the film had to vacate the schedule from March to June. It seems that time will be used as a production process for this film.

In addition to the announcement, the two did not reveal what plots were present in their latest film. However, what is certain is that this film will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle with a script from Rob Lieber.

The new film Karate Kid will be released in theaters on December 13, 2024.

Ralph Macchio also joined the latest franchise for the Karate Kid series, Cobra Kai. this series takes place 34 years after the incident in the 1984 film Karate Kid.
