Touched To Be Able To Appear In Front Of Jokowi, Wika Salim Remembers Singing On A Motorbike

JAKARTA - Dangdut singer Wika Salim still doesn't believe that he can be invited and even sing directly in front of President Joko Widodo.

Wika got this opportunity when he appeared at a music performance which was watched directly by the head of state and the ranks of cabinet ministers. The moment made Wika's mind.

Maaaaakkkk @mamamujiarti saw his son sing and watched by our President @jokowi and the Ministers of the Indonesian Advanced Cabinet Mr @erickthohir @basuki hadimuljono @bahlillahadalia @wishnutama and all those who are honorable... "Wika wrote via her Instagram account @wikasalim, Saturday 23 September.

Wika then reminisced about the times before becoming a singer as well as he is currently known. Where he used to ride a motorbike to sing from stage to stage. But now like a ball of life, Wika can now sing in front of the president.

"O Allah, we used to sing from stage to stage riding a motorbike, now the child has been watched by the great people of Indonesia. Mashaa Allah Thank you @ikn.id, Healthy always for all who have been present," he added.

Apart from Wika, the music performance entitled 'National Appreciation Night' was enlivened by several artists to singers. Held in the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) area on Friday, September 24, Wika appeared all out at that time.
