7 Years Of Debut, BLACKPINK Member Gives Sweet Speech To Each Other

JAKARTA - BLACKPINK celebrates its seven years of career in the music industry today, Tuesday, August 8. Members share moments and congratulate each other through social media.

Rosé uploaded several photos of the four BLACKPINK members and added long posts in Korean and English.

Thank you, BLACKPINK for being a blessing in my life. I can feel everything and more than what I dream of growing up as an artist. Thank you, thank you, and thank you hundreds of times," wrote Rosé.

"My heart is full. I can't express my gratitude to everyone who is part of the journey of the four of us...!!! BLACKPINK officially seven years today and I'm proud of all of us. To make history. To have pride and pleasure with what we do. Thank you Blinks for believing in us," he continued.

Then Lisa also uploaded several BLACKPINK photos when they went to photobooth together to appear at Coachella.

"7 is one of my favorite numbers and I hope this year will be lucky for us," wrote BLACKPINK.

Jennie and Jisoo also uploaded photos with BLACKPINK by inserting a short photo caption.

"I love us I love Blackpink I love Blinks," wrote Jennie.

Along with the words of the members, BLACKPINK and the YG Entertainment agency held a special event in Asia and the United States. Through their social media, there are special events held in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.

A special photobooth will be created to celebrate BLACKPINK in the New Yorkera from August 9 to August 11. 76 screens along Secaucus New Jersey are also decorated with BLACKPINK-wide decorations.

In parts of Asia, BLACKPINK collaborates with Starbucks beverage outlets to release special food, drinks, and merchandise that fans can get since the beginning of this month. The collaboration is available in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia.

On the other hand, BLACKPINK's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment will expire this month. Even so, YG Entertainment has not announced the contract status of the four BLACKPINK members.

BLACKPINK is also undergoing the latest series of BORN PINK tours in a number of cities in the United States until the end of August.
