The Ministry Of Health Appreciates The Management Of TUKS Petrokima Gresik Through The 'Healthy Port' Award
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) of the Republic of Indonesia appreciates the management of the Petrochemical Gresik Terminal for Own Interest (TUKS) with the award "Healthy Port". The award was handed over directly by the Deputy Minister of Health, Dante Saksono Harbuwono to Senior Vice President (SVP) of Gresik Petrochemical Warehouse Management and Port, I Gusti Bagus Manacika representing the President Director, Dwi Satriyo Annurogo in Jakarta, recently.
Separately, Dwi Satriyo in Gresik, Monday, December 16, said that the port is an important facility for Petrokimia Gresik, which is a company called Solusi Agroindustri, a member of the Pupuk Indonesia holding in assisting the smooth distribution of fertilizer throughout Indonesia. Moreover, Indonesia is an archipelagic country.
"Petrochemical Gresik expressed its gratitude for the appreciation given by the Ministry of Health. Of course this award will motivate us to continue to improve port management so that it can support the national food self-sufficiency acceleration program as instructed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto," said Dwi Satriyo.
The assessment of "Healthy Ports" covers many aspects, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health (Permenkes) Number 44 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Healthy Airports and Airports. Through this award, Petrokimia Gresik is considered to have carried out the regulation well.
"The implementation of Permenkes 44/2014 has become a necessity for Petrokimia Gresik as an instrument in increasing business competitiveness. Moreover, Petrokimia Gresik has received the mandate of distributing subsidized fertilizers to maintain national food security," he said.
The aspects of activities regulated in the Permenkes include, among others, environmental health management; arrangement of facilities and facilities; improvement of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS); improving Work Safety and Health (K3); increased security and order; as well as port innovation.
"Especially for innovation, Petrokimia Gresik has also optimized digitalization in port management. Among them are through the Petro Port, Er-Port, WMS, and several other digital applications," said Dwi Satriyo.

He further explained, to support the smooth distribution of fertilizers, Petrokimia Gresik also implemented the Green Port concept. In fact, the implementation of the Green Port concept at TUKS Petrokimia Gresik received an award from APEC Ports Service Network (APSN) in 2023.
The Green Port concept itself makes the Gresik Petrokimia port process more effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly. So that it further optimizes the Cost Reduction Program that has been run by the company.
"Health Port is a necessity in order to encourage the company's sustainable business progress. This award will motivate us to continue to manage ports even better," concluded Dwi Satriyo.
