Passenger Access To Halim Fast Train Station Is Getting Easier, Can Ride Transjakarta To Damri

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) continues to improve passenger services by facilitating access to people who want to use the Fast Train

One of them is by presenting various intermodals from and to Halim Fast Train Station, from Transjakarta to Damri.

KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said that currently there are four intermodals presented at the Halim High Speed Train Station. The latest is the existence of Damri from and to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.

Before Damri, continued Dwiyana, Transjakarta Buses had also operated with 7W routes, Jabodebek LRT, as well as conventional taxis that have special waiting areas to make it easier for high-speed train passengers.

"Alhamdulillah, we have received support from various parties to improve the quality of service for passengers, especially the continued mode of transportation to and from the Fast Train Station. The presence of the four intermodals at the Halim High Speed Train Station is very important in an effort to bring intermodal integration so that people can switch to public transportation," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 22.

For your information, the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Damri service can be accessed at the north door of the Halim Fast Train Station area.

Damri's operational schedule starts from 07.00-20.00 WIB for departure from Halim Station and 05.00-20.00 WIB for departure from Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Regarding Damri, Dwiyana reported that currently there is a promo rate of up to 50 percent or only Rp. 40,000 for high-speed train passengers during the trial period.

Meanwhile, the Jabodebek LRT mode, continued Dwiyana, can be accessed directly through the connecting bridge of Halim Fast Train Station and Halim LRT Station.

The route available for the Halim Station LRT is the Dukuh Atas-Jati Mulya pp route. The Jabodebek LRT tariff is the first 1 km IDR 3,000, then 700 per km a maximum of IDR 20,000 on Sunday and a maximum of IDR 10,000 on weekends.

The earliest route to Dukuh Atas is 05.23 WIB, and the last is 19.53 WIB. Meanwhile, the earliest route to Jati Mulya is 06.23 WIB, and the last is 20.53 WIB.

"The Jabodebek LRT can be used since theodesh High Speed Train was operated. So far, many passengers have also used the integration of modes with the LRT to go to various destinations," said Dwiyana.

As for TransJakarta buses, the bus that operates is TransJakarta number 7W with the Cawang-KCJB Halim Station route. The route to be traversed is from Cawang-Jalan Major General Sutoyo-Jalan DI Panjaitan-Halim Station. Passengers can use Transjakarta buses at a rate of Rp. 3,500 using an electronic money card.

In addition, said Dwiyana, the Halim High Speed Train Station has also been connected to online transportation and conventional taxis that can be accessed around the north door of the Halim High Speed Train Station area.

In addition to the continued mode of transportation, KCIC also continues to strive to provide easy accessibility through the DI Pandjaitan Road access which was completed last August 2023, this is the main public access to the IDX Halim high-speed train station.

Ke depan, exit toll Jakarta-Cikampek KM 0+850 juga akan dibuka sebagai salah satu akses drop off ke stasiun Kereta Cepat Halim.

"For people who bring vehicles to the station area, there is also no need to worry because the Halim Fast Train Station area is equipped with a large parking area with a capacity of up to 248 medium-sized cars and 301 motorbikes. There are two fairly wide parking areas on the west and east sides of the station," he said.

Furthermore, Dwiyana said, the presence of accessibility and advanced modes of transportation is very important for people who will use thelush high-speed train, considering that currently passenger volume continues to increase with the highest average passenger reaching 21,000 per day on weekends and 18,000 per day on weekdays.

In total, from the beginning of its operation on October 17 to November 21, the HIGH Speed Train has transported 472,000 passengers with an average passenger occupancy reaching 80 to 99 percent in each series operating.

"With the ease of accessibility and the presence of connections for various modes of transportation, people will easily reach the high-speed train station. Just select those according to their respective needs," said Dwiyana.
