Full Of Surprise, Maliq & D Essentials Becomes A Special Performer At Coldplay Concert

JAKARTA - The Coldplay "Music of The Spheres" World Tour concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Central Jakarta last night, Wednesday, November 15 was filled with many surprises.

One of the surprises presented was the appearance of Maliq & D'Essentials on the main stage. Their appearance was not previously announced at all.

Meanwhile, Chris Martin moved from the main stage in front of the south stand to the small stage in front of the north stand.

“We wanted to do something we had never done before. I'm going to do magic, a magic show," said Chris Martin.

The vocalist then asked the audience to raise their hands to send love and peace to the people they wished.

“I want all of you to send your love to the people you love, whether to parents, siblings, family, or to people out there, to the Middle East, to anyone. Raise your hands like this," said Chris Martin.

After a few moments, the magic that Chris Martin meant happened.

"This is the magic, Coldplay changed to Maliq & D'Essentials," he said.

Then, Maliq & D'Essentials appeared on the main stage. They performed a song entitled Senja Teduh Pelita.

“Good evening Jakarta. Thank you to my brother, Chris Martin, for giving us the opportunity to perform on this big stage," said Angga, vocalist of Maliq & D'Essentials.

For information, Coldplay performed more than 20 songs, including Adventure of A Lifetime, Paradise, The Scientist, Viva La Vida, In My Place, My Universe, Something Just Like This, A Sky Full of Star, and Fix You.
