RI Expects IPEF Partners To Strengthen Digital To Environmental Cooperation And Investment
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati also attended a bilateral meeting as a representative from Indonesia representing the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) agenda in San Francisco on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Sri Mulyani said that one of her presence on the agenda was to strengthen cooperation in the field of international trade.
In addition, he explained that since last year Indonesia has joined the IPEF, namely the collection of economic partner countries which includes 40 percent of global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and 28 percent of world goods and services trade.
During the meeting, the 4th Minister of Finance IPEF, Sri Mulyani, hoped that IPEF partners would continue to strengthen cooperation and investment.

"Especially to resolve topics that need follow-up, such as the digital economy, agriculture and inclusiveness, employment, and the environment," Sri Mulyani wrote on her official Instagram account @smindrawati, Tuesday, November 14.
On the other hand, Sri Mulyani also appreciated the substantial progress of the IPEF trading pillar and is committed to continuing to collaborate with IPEF partners to create a stable global economy and improve the welfare of IPEF partner areas.
