JAKARTA - Four Polish U-17 national team players were sent home and certainly could not appear to defend the team at the 2023 U-17 World Cup. This was due to disciplinary action taken by the four of them.
The players who were dropped and sent home were Oskar Tomczyk, Filip Rozga, Jan Labedzki, and Filip Wolski. The four of them were sent home because they were caught consuming alcohol during preparations ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
This news is known from the official announcement of the Polish Football Federation (PZPN). The four players are said to have violated the regulations during a training camp in Bali ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
Due to a regulatory breach, the U-17 team's coaching staff decided to remove four players. These players will soon leave the team: Oskar Tomczyk, Filip Rozga, Jan Labedzki and Filip Wolski, "said PZPN's statement as reported by Polish media, Meczyki.
Sources revealed that the four players were indicated to have been under the influence of alcohol during the team's training camp in Bali.

The Polish U-17 national team occupies group D with Japan, Argentina, and Senegal in the group stage of the 2023 U-17 World Cup. For this group, all matches will take place at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung.
