Committee Names 1.4 Million Palestinian Defense Masses Spilled At Monas
JAKARTA - The National Monument (Monas) area is filled with Palestinian defenders held by elements of society who are members of the Indonesian People's Alliance this morning. On stage, the committee received information that 1.4 million people were crowding the Monas area.
"We received information that this action was attended by 1.4 million people. This is only the one at Monas," said the committee, Sunday, November 5.
Ministers, state officials to political elites also made speeches to defend Palestine from Israel's indiscriminate aggression against Gaza.
A number of figures attended this action. These include Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque Nasaruddin Umar, Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Jazilul Fawaid, to former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.
In addition, interfaith leaders were also present in the action coordinated by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).
To secure the Palestinian defense action, Polda Metro Jaya deployed 3,448 joint personnel. The Palestinian defense action will be held in the Monas area of Central Jakarta on Sunday, November 5.
"The total number of joint personnel to secure the action is 3,448 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when confirmed, Saturday, November 4.

Trunoyudo said the joint personnel consisted of elements of the National Police, TNI and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government including Satpol PP, Transportation Service, Health Service and Fire Department.
"From the National Police 2,774 personnel including Polda Metro Jaya and Polres, then elements of the TNI 500 personnel, and the DKI Regional Government as many as 98 personnel," he explained.
The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has also prepared traffic engineering even though it is still situational. "We prepare traffic engineering, but it is situational in nature," he said.
The traffic engineering prepared to regulate the movement of the Aksa Bela Palestinian period is as follows: 1. Traffic flow from the direction of Jalan Harmoni towards Majapahit is diverted to Jalan Juanda and Jalan Suryopranoto. 2. Traffic flow from Jalan Budi Kemuliaan towards Gambir is diverted to Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Majapahit, and Jalan Harmoni.3. Traffic Flow on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan both to the East and West is diverted. 4. Traffic flow from Tugu Tani to Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan is straightened towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.
