Huawei Succeeds The ICT High Level Forum #Keep The Cyber Room By BSSN
JAKARTA - Huawei participated in the success of the High Level Forum in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) held by the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
Titled #JagaGerCiber, a forum involving 180 institutions, government institutions, ICT solution providers and academics, aims to increase awareness and anticipation of potential cyber attacks in Indonesia's digital space.
"Collaboration within the framework of quadhelix is needed to address challenges in cybersecurity. Huawei is not just a partner, but is one of the most trusted partners," said Head of BSSN Hinsa Siburian in a statement received by VOI on Monday, October 30.
Furthermore, Hinsa hopes that this collaboration between BSSN and Huawei in the future can create new innovations that are beneficial to all parties.
As representatives of Huawei who attended, Sean Yang, Cybersecurity and Privacy Officer (GSPO) Huawei Global shared experiences and insights regarding current cyber challenges.
According to Yang, maintaining cyber security is a shared responsibility of all stakeholders involved.

On this occasion, Huawei also reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to capacity building and competence in the field of cybersecurity with the final goal of achieving Indonesia's national cyber security strategy.
Apart from being a platform for collaboration, this forum is also part of follow-up and socialization related to Presidential Regulation Number 47 of 2023 concerning National Cybersecurity Strategies and Cyber Crisis Management.
Presidential Regulation Number 47 of 2023 itself aims to create cybersecurity, protect the national digital economy ecosystem, increase reliable and reliable cybersecurity capabilities and prioritize national interests and support the creation of open, safe, stable and responsible global cyberspace.
