Modified Angle Becomes One Of Visitors' Favorite Locations On Honda Bikers Day
The tents for the largest Honda motorcycle modification contest in Indonesia, the Honda Modif Contest (HMC) 2023, are one of the most popular corners for visitors who enliven the Honda Bikers Day event at Rampal Field, Malang City, Saturday, October 28.
Not only crowded with bikers from various motorcycle communities, many general people flock to enliven modified tents to take a closer look at the creativity of the accomplished modifiers poured through the various types of Honda motorcycles.
"It's fun and very interesting. Many modified motorbikes are made with creative ideas, full of creation and color," said one visitor named Agus Gumilar.
Another visitor named Heri assessed that motorcycle modification is a process that must be highly appreciated because not everyone can express creative and innovative ideas while still paying attention to other important elements.
"This modified motorbike must not only be cool and perform beyond expectations, but must be safe and comfortable when used. So it is not just an object of display, it must still have a function like a motorized vehicle in general," said Heri.
The HMC 2023 event this time involved as many as 710 participants from all over the country who were selected by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Of these, 45 of the best Honda motorcycle modifications were selected to compete in the final round.
In the final round, the best series of modified works determined from the selection of Honda motorcycle modification works in the regional series held in six cities, namely Pekanbaru, Solo, Denpasar, Samarinda, Makassar and Malang.
This year, HMC will overhaul nine main classes, namely All stock & Advance for motorcycles produced under 2006, Matic & Cub Stock / Bolt On, Matic & Cub Advance, Sport Naked, Sport Fairing, Sticker / decals, Racing Style, and Community Touring categories for motorcycle categories with productions above 2006.
Another interesting thing is the presence of prestigious Free for All (FFA) classes for all categories of skutik, cub, and Honda sports from all production years.

In addition to the nine main classes, there are also special achievements categories consisting of five categories, namely Best Fashion, Best Matic Besar, Best Xplorer, Best Fun Community Competition, and Best Media Pick.
In the final round, Saharudin won the title of national champion for the Matic & Cub category which modified the Honda Scoopy motorbike, Iksan Aditya Mulyo for the Sport category with the work of CBR250, and Andri Hendrawan with his creation Honda CB175 Twin as the winner of the FFA category (Free for All).
The three national champions are entitled to prizes in the form of coaching money and have the opportunity to become a modifier in the Honda Dream Ride Project and are accompanied directly by the best mentors in the country.
