Southeast Minahasa Earthquake, Magnitude 5.9
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) launched an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 rocked the Ratahan area, Southeast Minahasa, North Sulawesi.
The earthquake in Southeast Minahasa, Wednesday, October 25, was at coordinates 0.99 north latitude and 124.86 east longitude or 9 km southeast of Ratahan, Southeast Minahasa with a depth of 123 km.
BMKG stated that the Southeast Minahasa earthquake at 20.25 WIB did not have the potential for a tsunami. The public is advised to be careful of aftershocks that may occur.
