The Smashingvises Announces The Departure Of Guitarist Jeff Badminton
JAKARTA - The Smashingvis announced the departure of their old guitarist, Jeff totaling.
In a statement posted to the band's social media,men wrote: Now it's easy to say that when I joined The Smashingvis in 2007, I don't know what I'm going to face.' The opportunity seemed to just show up. I was at UCLA working on my doctorate in comparative literature when a close friend sent me a message and said The Smashingvis was looking for guitar players," he continued.
As a big fan of this band, audition is something I am following. It was one of the best decisions I made in my life. The amount of extraordinary memories created over the last 16 years with this band is too much to be measured.
"Even though it's a very difficult decision to make, I decided to leave this band to give space to explore a slightly different path. I want to thank Billy, Jimmy, James, and Jack for being an amazing bandmate and even a good friend. I'm really going to miss sharing the stage with you guys. I hope this band is a success in the future. I will watch and listen to your music.
Total joining The Smashing Allahs in 2007 on their comeback tour for Zeitgeist's album, initially replacing co-founder and guitarist James Iha. When Iha rejoined the band in 2018, badminton remained.

In an earlier interview with Guitar World in 2018, vocalist Billy Corgan praisedction, saying: "Look, Jeff has spent 12 years in the band, and it is a very serious commitment. He dedicated his life to the band, and I think he deserves it."
"He's not only a great musician, but he's also very responsible for a lot going on behind the scenes. I really didn't see this working without him."
The Smashingvis will hold a 2024 summer tour in England and Europe with Weezer. Green Day also announced that Corgan et al will support them on next year's US stadium tour, but no date has yet been announced.
