Geprek Chicken Courier The Perpetrator Of The Extortion Of Bus Drivers In Thamrin City Claims To Need Additional Money For Cigarettes

The Tanah Abang Metro Police managed to find out the motive for the young man with the initials S (33) who carried out the burglary of a bus driver in the Thamrin City area, Tanah Abang.

"The temporary motive from the information of the perpetrator's initials S was secured, only to find additional cigarette money. The perpetrator is still a bachelor, not yet married," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, Kompol Kukuh Islami to VOI, Monday, October 23.

The perpetrator, who is known to have come from Karang Anyar, Central Java, was desperate to commit an act of extortion because he was invited by two of his friends who are still at large.

"He delivers geprek chicken food around Thamrin city, he is only invited by his friend. The perpetrator is still a bachelor with the initials S (33)," he said.

However, investigators from the Tanah Abang Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit have not explained in detail how much S earns each time he makes illegal levies on bus drivers.

"We haven't dug up what he thinks per day. The motive is because he is for additional cigarette money, as additional work income," he said.

Kompol Kukuh explained that although the other two perpetrators were still at large, the police already knew their identities.

"Since it went viral, the two friends have run away. But their characteristics are known," he said.

Meanwhile, even though the police have arrested the perpetrator with the initials S, the police have not applied the article to S because the victim has not made a police report.
