Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates Must Understand Indonesia Gold Development Plan 2045
JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa stated that political parties and presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) must understand national development planning in accordance with the mandate of the 2045 Golden Indonesia Visi.
The planning includes the 2025-2045 National Long Term Development Plan (RPJPN) and the Teknocratic National Medium-Term Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029.
"So later the elected president will issue a Presidential Decree (Presidential Regulation) regarding the National Medium-Term Development Plan for 2025 to 2029, which is based on of course the establishment at RPJPN 2025-2045," he said at the Socialization event of RPJPN 2025-2045 and RPJMN Teknocratic 2025-2029 to the Political Party, at the Bappenas building, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.
He emphasized that political parties and vice presidential/vice presidential candidates must ensure that the program's priority selection is in line with development corridors, so that the program is concrete and deliberable. This is because the RPJPN is in the form of a law that binds all children of the nation,
However, the elected president will still have the opportunity to be creative in carrying out the strategy of implementing the national development plan that has been prepared.
"So, the room remains wide open to be creative, who wants to take the strategy A, B, C, please, but we have prepared the targeting, provide it, and if you really want to be sharper, go ahead," said the Head of Bappenas.
The 2025-2045 RPJPN carries Indonesia's vision as a Sovereign, Advanced, and Sustainable Archipelago Country. This vision is explained through several development targets, namely revenue per capita equivalent to developed countries of 30,300 US dollars, poverty towards 0 percent and inequality reduced, achieving the rank of 15 major developed countries, increasing competitiveness of human resources, and towards net zero emissions by reducing the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions.
As a first step, presidential and vice presidential candidates must draw up a priority vision, mission, and program by referring to the Draft Technocratics of the 2025-2029 RPJMN.
The draft acts as a development guide for five years, as well as an assignment to ministries/agencies/BUMN and local governments.
The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas is also said to have developed National Priority Risk Management to monitor planning synchronization at the central and regional levels. For the first time, we are doing this (socialization) in the hope of synchronizing to the regional level," said Suharso.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari said the program's vision and mission that will be prepared by political parties to look to the future in a five-year technology, as well as in the long term towards Golden Indonesia in 2045, is important.
Even though our electoral system to elect members of the DPR and DPRD is a proportional list of open candidates, voters may directly elect candidates, but this candidate is proposed by political parties, and once again, the election participants are political parties. Likewise, pairs of candidates (presidents and vice presidents) are also the ones who carry political parties, so that it becomes important and strategic if political parties have a perspective that can be said to be relatively the same to look to the future towards 2045," said Hasyim.
