National Police Chief: Allegations Of SYL Extortion By KPK Leaders Handled Carefully And Carefully
YOGYAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo asked his staff to be careful and careful in handling the alleged extortion case of former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) by the KPK leadership who had entered the investigation stage.
"Because this concerns reports reported by people who are known to the public and then also concerns institutions that are known to the public, the handling must be careful, must be careful," said Listyo Sigit at the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) GOR, Sleman, DI. Yogyakarta, Saturday, October 7th.
According to the National Police Chief, his party has also deployed a team from the National Police Headquarters to help Polda Metro Jaya handle the case.
"I asked the team from Headquarters to come down to take action so that the handling process is careful because we don't want the Police to be unprofessional. I ask investigators to handle it professionally," he said.
The National Police Chief also invited other parties or institutions that wanted to oversee the performance of the National Police regarding the handling of the case.
"So that then the process can really provide a sense of justice. Whether this can be processed further, or vice versa must be stopped, and of course this is the right of the reporter, the right of the reported party to be tested later. I think the Police are transparent in this matter," he said.
