Heartache Unreceived, Man In Bogor Has The Heart To Stab His Ex-wife While Sleeping

BOGOR - Unreceived by his mother-in-law, RA (27) had the heart to stab his ex-wife SJ (33), a resident of Cipopokol Village, Pasir Muncang Village, Caringin District, Bogor Regency.

"For his actions, the suspect is suspected of Article 351 paragraph 2, 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 53 KHUP, Article 340 KHUP in conjunction with 53 KHUP with a maximum imprisonment of 20 years," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Resort Police AKP Muhammad Ilham, Tuesday, October 3.

Ilham also explained the chronology of the incident, based on the statement of suspect RA initially visiting the victim SJ's house on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at around 04.00 WIB in the morning with the aim of inviting SJ to reconcile.

"In front of the victim's house met the victim's mother, asking about the intent and purpose because it was still early in the morning. The perpetrator explained that he wanted to reconcile but the victim's mother said she couldn't because she had rejected it 3 times," he said.

Ilham continued, the suspect admitted that he was hurt by the refusal expressed by the victim's mother, then RA, who at that time had pocketed a knife as if he was moving away and the victim's mother returned home.

But the reality was that shortly after RA left and parked his vehicle in front of the alley of the victim's house.

"The reason is that the RA came back but he didn't come back (to his house), but instead returned to the victim's house and looked for the victim," he said.

The victim, who was fast asleep on his stomach, then got a number of stabs by the suspect.

"From the medical results, 5 stabs were also found on victim 3 on the back, 2 in hand," he said.

Ilham said that until now SJ is still at the Ciawi Hospital for further treatment by the hospital.
