Accelerate Electric Motor Transition, ESDM Holds Electric Motor Conversion Workshop Training
JAKARTA - The government continues to be committed to pursuing the Zero Emission (NZE) target in 2060, one of the efforts made is through the use of Battery-Based Electric Motorized Vehicles (KBLBB) to convert.
As is known, conversion is a conventional vehicle based on fuel oil (BBM) transformed into an electric motor, which will have a good impact on many people to the environment.
To accelerate the development of the KBLBB ecosystem, ESDM conducts training on workshops that will convert electric motorcycles, as well as socialization to the public to Conversion Technical Guidance in Bandung, West Java.
"This activity aims to increase the use of electric motors in order to reduce emissions and pollution," said the Director of Conservation represented by the Coordinator of Energy Conservation Business Development of the Directorate General of EBTKE of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Devi Laksmi, quoted from the ministry's official website, Wednesday, October 3.
Devi said that conversion activities are part of energy conservation, which can have an impact on solvent savings, will create cost efficiency.
He further said that to prepare a conversion ecosystem, collaboration between agencies is needed. Starting with preparing an official workshop or being certified which is supervised.
