Local organizers, GAMMA members in Greece, and the Greek Wrestling Federation have worked very hard to host the event following the devastating forest fires in the region last month.
This is the first time we've hosted an event in Greece, and I'm very grateful that despite the many challenges in recent months, organizers are still willing to welcome the GAMMA community in Alexandroupolis. Giving the opportunity to compete for our young athletes is an integral part of their development in this sport, and I hope everyone will enjoy this event and take the opportunity to learn from each other as well as share perspectives and experiences from their respective countries. I look forward to the fun days together in Greece." said GAMMA President Alexandergehardt.
