So Against Mandatory Oleksandr Usyk, Chinese Boxer Zhilei Zhang Challenges Tyson Fury
JAKARTA - Zhilei Zhang won sensationally over Joe Joyce at OVO Arena Wembley, London, England, Sunday, September 24, western Indonesia time. A right hook from the boxer from China made Joyce fall in the third round.
In fact, Joyce had to receive oxygen help in the corner of the ring after taking a hit from the 40-year-old monster.
This is Zhang's second time silencing Joyce. Previously, he won TKO in the sixth round after Joyce was judged to have had vision problems due to being battered by the knockout king from the Bamboo Curtain Country.
With that victory, Zhang defended the interim WBO heavyweight title as well as a mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk.
However, Zhang took advantage of this victory to challenge heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He told the audience he wanted to silence the big mouth of the British boxer.
"Audience, I want to ask you a question, do you want to see me silence Tyson Fury?" Zhang said in an interview on the side of the ring.
Regarding his appearance, Zhang certainly felt happy. He also boasted that he had predicted an easy win in this fight.
"As I said before the fight, it will end sooner than the first fight and I managed to do it," Zhang said.
"Joe, great fighter, respect him. I love him and respect him, everyone take care of him," he continued.
